Bridgeport School in Sherman Oaks and Culver City are dedicated non-public schools that celebrate the diverse interests and talents of our students who face unique challenges. The Bridgeport Vocational Centers are programs within the schools that offer a unique learning environment for young adults with special needs ages 18 to 22 where they can develop and master the critical skills necessary for a successful transition from school to adult independence.  Our primary goal is to guide and support students with special needs in reaching their full potential toward independence in practical academics, social competence, and career exploration.

By integrating functional education with early career exploration, our students embark on their journey as career explorers from a young age. Our curriculum prioritizes practical academics, with a strong emphasis on reading, writing, mathematics, and science. CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION
Our Career Technical Education program offers specialized vocational and career exploration through six distinct career academies. In addition, we have a unique collaboration with two local community colleges, LA Valley College and West LA College. It is through this partnership that students gain an understanding of the 21st Century Employability work skills. These skills are then put to use in the hands-on learning rotating internships with local businesses.
